The Battle Goes On: E3 2015 – Day Two

Day Two of Electronic Entertainment has come to an end. We have already discussed the major highlights from this gargantuan of an expo. New game developers have stepped into the field, and has taken us all by surprise. The game has advanced another level. The bars are now higher than ever. Better, more challenging, and highly detailed and interactive games are coming out one after another.

We will update the major developments after the end of third day, as the developers still have some cards hidden up their sleeves. For now, let’s review some of the biggest games that have come out of Day Two:

Rise of the Tomb Raider

  • The game is coming out on November 10, 2015
  • It is time-exclusive for only Xbox One players until further notice
  • It is a sequel to Crystal Dynamic’s Tomb Raider from 2013
  • The game focuses more on exploration, tomb ‘raiding’, and challenging puzzles instead of on combat as other Tomb Raider games
  • The game-play allows for non-violent or avoiding direct fighting in human vs. human combat
  • The character, Lara, can craft items for resourcefulness in the game
  • Detailed graphics, animations, and design elements
  • It includes unfriendly animals and environmental catches that can kill Lara

Dishonored 2

  • The game is due for release in northern spring of 2016
  • Bethesda has taken the storyline 15 years ahead of the first part
  • You can play with either Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano from the original game
  • Create your own play style, your actions determine the story
  • Highly lifelike graphics and interactive details allowing you to adapt different techniques
  • Vast range of weapons and tools at your disposal to better adapt your preferred style

Dark Souls 3

  • The game will be launched in early 2016
  • It is designed to convey brutality, mystery, and dark beauty
  • The thrilling dark and violent graphics are close to its prequel, Dark Souls 2
  • The gameplay is also similar to the prequel, but few additional moves and powers are granted to the player
  • Animation and graphics have been enhanced to appear fantastically realistic
